The Will 06:23
You make me feel the strength of the will Intend your will - invent your dream Don’t be afraid to be on your own, get up and face the unknown, I try the path on my own, I know the warriors walk alone, There is no answer to this unknown, run your own race, that’s all, I try the path on my own, I know the warriors walk alone That makes me feel, this is for real, that makes me feel this is for real. You make me feel the strength of the will You make me feel the strength of the will Intend your will, invent your dream

I am off to this beautiful place I cleaned with love and devotion, It doesn’t matter where I go I am wherever my thoughts are It doesn’t really matter where I go I am wherever my thoughts are. When the night comes my soul is a song I can hear this beautiful melody of ours, It doesn’t really matter where we go we are wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go we are wherever our thoughts are. You came to this beautiful place you cleaned with love and devotion, This monkey mind has driven us crazy, You came after midnight when my soul is a song, Why should we be this shining light in the dark, It doesn’t really matter where we go we are wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go we are wherever our thoughts are. You came to me in the night you known during the dark hours we are so fragile, We are so fragile, You came to me in the night you know during the dark hours anything can be fatal, Anything can be fatal, At night my soul is a song, my soul is a song, At night my soul is a song, my soul is a song, It doesn’t really matter where we go, it doesn’t really matter where me go we are wherever our thoughts are, wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go, it doesn’t matter where we go, we are wherever our thoughts are, wherever our thoughts are, we are wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go, it doesn’t really matter where me go we are wherever our thoughts are, wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go, it doesn’t matter where we go, we are wherever our thoughts are, wherever our thoughts are, we are wherever our thoughts are, It doesn’t really matter where we go, it doesn’t matter where we go.

about

All tracks recorded in Goa, India.

The idea was to keep it simple by using the first takes, as the original intention is the most important thing to seize. So the accent is on spontaneity rather than trying to make something perfect or produced

Recorded tracks are just a picture of a specific moment, whereas during a live performance the box opens, the layer is peeled back and the original spirit becomes visible

It was this spirit that I wanted to capture, to be part of what surrounded us at that moment - Along with the noise of the rickshaws, scooters and barking dogs, the earth hum from badly wired Indian mains supply, the birds and the neighbors outside - most importantly the feeling of freedom which we were experiencing

The album was recorded with Marc Clayton. An excellent Tabla player, who also played Bass guitar

Dr Floy, a brilliant musician (bass guitar) plays on several of the tracks

Sujay Bobade, a specialist in classical Indian music and plays Bansuri. He brought his presence and musicality

Two other Indian musicians lent their talent to the project.
Amit Bhonsle, Tabla player, a wonderful performer whose energy and vivacity carried us along, and Laxmikant, who plays Sitar joined us for some great moments together

Finally the tracks were mixed by Marc at his home studio in Brighton, England
